Every car comes with a history. Some have been in a family for years; others are classics an owner has always wanted to bring back to life. Green Shed approaches each conversion around the car itself, the owner’s goals, and the mechanical or cosmetic restoration needed along the way.
THE CONVERSION
Green Shed handles every aspect of the conversion, from engineering and installation to mechanical and cosmetic restoration. Owners who want to participate can also work alongside the crew through its unique assisted-build program.
THE DEMO RIDE
The demo drive is where the work comes together — performance, handling and the character of the original car. The final question can only be answered on the road: does the converted car still feel like the classic its owner loves?
MEET PROFESSOR PROTON
Every great garage needs a little mad science.
Steve Clunn is equal parts inventor, teacher and electric-vehicle expert. For more than a decade, he has been reimagining classic cars with electric power—and making the technology understandable along the way.
Through the EV University segments, “Professor Proton” breaks down batteries, motors, controllers and the mysteries under the hood with hands-on knowledge, endless curiosity and an unmistakable personality.

At family-run Green Shed Conversions, every build brings together ingenuity, craftsmanship and hands-on problem-solving — working through the unexpected until a classic is ready for the road again.
Part inventor, part teacher, Steve has spent more than a decade reimagining classic vehicles with electric power. His automotive knowledge, endless curiosity and “Professor Proton” personality make him the creative and technical spark behind Green Shed Conversions.
With a background in building and fabrication, Jorin brings precision, ingenuity and practical problem-solving to every conversion. His hands-on craftsmanship helps turn ambitious plans into custom solutions built for performance and the road ahead.
Audrey helped turn Steve’s passion project into Green Shed Conversions in 2006. Her vision, determination and commitment to sustainability helped build the foundation for the family business and the next generation carrying it forward.
Raised around electric vehicles, Sarah brings a lifetime of firsthand experience to Green Shed. Her leadership and forward-looking approach are helping guide the family business into its next chapter while expanding what classic-car conversion can become.

Jim Masi
Jim is the creator of Classic Car EnVy and founder of BearHand Production. His career spans broadcast television, sports, entertainment, documentaries and episodic programming. An Emmy-winning camera operator with experience on The Late Show with David Letterman, Jim brings technical precision and a storyteller’s eye to the series.
Shallon Chapman
Shallon’s experience spans producing, directing, cinematography, camera operation and editing. Her credits include regional Emmy Award-winning work on Flip My Florida Yard and projects for Magnolia Network. Her expertise in aerial and marine cinematography brings an especially versatile visual approach to the series.
Erin Fleming
Erin is a seasoned producer and international storyteller whose work has taken her across Africa, Southeast Asia and Latin America. Her experience shaping documentaries from research and interviews through production and post-production brings depth, clarity and a distinctly human perspective to the series.
Matt Weir
Matt brings a wide-ranging creative background spanning directing, writing, performance and production design. Comfortable working on both sides of the camera, he brings a flexible, story-first perspective that helps translate the energy of the shop into engaging television.
Kevin Malcolm
Kevin is a sound professional whose credits include Flip My Florida Yard, Give Me the Ball! and Botched Homes. On Classic Car EnVy, he helps capture the voices, workshop sounds and candid conversations that bring viewers into the garage and closer to the people behind each transformation.
